First of all, thank you Fiona and Renee for your comments. I appreciated the advice ^.~ But I think I'm not going to major in graphic designing, at least not my freshman year. You really should be a decent drawer even if you are going into graphic design. I found out that they really don't want that many digital artworks in your portfolio...they really rather have drawings...well that is if I want to go into a good school...the schools that aren't as good probably won't be as strict. And my drawing skills are really not that good, I guess I'm better than the average person who can only draw stick figures, but not far beyond them and when it comes to painting, disaster! I know that with practice that I'll improve but it's too late, I can't improve my skills to meet the requirements in a couple of months. I need more time to prepare and to improve. So I'm most likely going to go in undecided, so much for not wanting to experiment! Maybe I'll take some art courses at the community college around here next summer to improve and then see how that goes or maybe I'll find something else I'm interested in and would like to do before then =/ Or maybe I'll just major in some technology related course...I'll have to look into that and see. But I dunno...going in undecided probably won't be that bad...because honestly, how do people expect us to know whether or not we want to do something for the rest of their lives? We might think now that we want to be a graphic designer but then when you actually take the course you might realize that it's just not for you and it's not something you want as an occupation, it's not something you want to do EVERYDAY.

| Karissa October 4, 2005 09:26 PM PDT Its good how you thought over what you thought you wanted to do, but realized you didn't want to do it. its still early amy =). hehe you still have time to find some things you would like to major in. give yourself options, choices, it would make it a lot easier. but best of luck to you! =) | ||
